Watch Terry Crews’ and Kevin Hart’s Best Ring Muscle-Ups

Kevin Hart is nine episodes deep into his pretty great YouTube series “What the Fit,” which has shown him exploring everything from sumo wrestling with Conan O’Brien to recreational rodeo with Leslie Jones.

This time around he took on gymnastics with the enormous actor and former NFL linebacker Terry Crews. Both admit that gymnastics and flexibility in general aren’t their thing, so they started off with a Thai massage before heading to Gymnastics Olympica in Los Angeles.

The mostly pre-teen gymnasts trounce them all the way throughout the video (“Why am I the only one sweating?” “Because you’re trying too hard.”) and while there’s some pretty funny tumbling at the five-minute mark, the ring work starts six minutes in.

This was a pretty awesome clip but if it left you wishing Hart had picked up a darn barbell at some point, you’re in luck. Well, not quite — he didn’t lift barbells, but he did lift Atlas stones, pull a car, and (sort of) flip a tire. We’re talking about the clip from a couple of week ago when Kevin Hart trained strongman with the one and only Martins Licis, the reigning fourth strongest man on Earth, according to the results of the 2017 World’s Strongest Man. (That title is sort of in flux since this year’s contest is about to go down, but he’s still a world class athlete.)

Anyway, check it out.

To this day, though, our favorite clip of Hart has to be the time when he went to a CrossFit gym with Conan O’Brien in 2016.

Fingers crossed he winds up in front of an actual barbell before “What the Fit” wraps up, but we’ve enjoyed what we’ve seen so far regardless.
