How to Watch the 2023 Asian Weightlifting Championships

The elite competition kicks off on May 5, 2023, in Jinju, South Korea.

The 2023 Asian Weightlifting Championships (AWC) are scheduled for May 5-13, 2023, in Jinju, South Korea. The contest will feature twenty weight categories ā€” 10 male and 10 female ā€” in the central city of Western Gyeongsangnam-do.

The competition will take place in the Jinju Arena and will be streamed by the Asian Weightlifting Championships Jinju 2023 YouTube channel.

World Record Watch

With the 2023 Southeast Asia Games taking place May 5-17, 2023, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and a 2024 Paris Olympic Qualification event, the IWF Grand Prix I, occurring June 8-18, 2023, in Havana, Cuba, new world records in Jinju are unlikely but not out of the question given the caliber of the roster.
